Shop Designer
Shop Designer is a visual layout tool for your Depop shop. It lets you pin, re-order, and group your active listings without dragging items around inside Depop’s own UI, which is fiddly on the web and slow on mobile.
This feature is Depop only. Vinted doesn’t expose a public way to re-order a shop, so the equivalent doesn’t exist for Vinted listings.
What it does
- Reorder listings by dragging cards in the panel preview. Saving pushes the new order to Depop in one batch.
- Pin items to the top so featured pieces always show first.
- Preview the resulting shop layout before you commit.
The panel reads your active listings from Depop, shows them as a draggable grid, and lets you save the result back to Depop in one go.
Opening the designer
Inside the SaleLinx panel, open the Shop Designer tab. The first time you open it on a new account, it pulls your active listings (this can take a few seconds for shops with hundreds of items).
The grid mirrors the order Depop currently shows on your shop page.
Reordering
Drag any card to a new position. The preview updates instantly. Drop targets highlight as you drag.
Use the toolbar:
- Sort by date - resets the preview to newest-first.
- Reverse - flips the current order.
- Reset - throws away changes and reloads from Depop.
Saving
Click Save layout. SaleLinx pushes the new order to Depop one item at a time, using the same Refresh mechanism under the hood (each repositioned item is bumped by a re-save, in reverse order, to land in the target position). Safe pacing between calls means the marketplace doesn’t flag the burst as automated activity.
The save can take a minute or two for a large shop. The panel shows progress and you can keep working in other tabs - nothing else is blocked.
Depop’s search and feed surface listings partly based on shop activity, so a recently re-ordered shop can briefly get a small visibility bump. Don’t re-order daily - the bump diminishes if Depop sees the same items being shuffled in a tight loop.
Common tasks
Featuring a new collection. Drag the new pieces to the top, save. They’ll be the first thing shoppers see when they land on your profile.
Cleaning up a messy shop. Use Sort by date to reset, then nudge the items you want featured to the top. Saves you the click-by-click drag in Depop’s native shop editor.
Limitations
- Depop only - Vinted has no equivalent.
- Active listings only - sold and draft items aren’t shown.
- No grouping - Depop doesn’t support sections, so neither does the designer. Order is a single flat list.
Plan and access
Shop Designer is included on Starter and above, and on the 7-day free trial (which grants Starter access). Once the trial ends without subscribing, the tab locks.
